About Us

Earagail Arts Festival is a bilingual (Irish and English language), multidisciplinary arts festival which takes place every July throughout County Donegal on the North West Atlantic seaboard of Ireland. The Earagail Arts Festival is run by the Earagail Arts Festival Company Limited, a company limited by guarantee not having a share capital, registered as an educational charity and a not for profit organisation. The Festival Director has responsibility for the day to day activities of the organisation in consultation with the Management Committee. The Management Committee consists of 5 members from the Board of Directors with particular art form and business development expertise and meets formally at least once a quarter, but also on an ad hoc basis as necessary. Earagail Arts Festival was first established by Donegal County Council’s Arts Services in 1989.
