Cara House Family Resource Centre

About Us

Cara House opened in May 2004 providing a constructive and enjoyable space for people who have spare time. In 2008, it became a Family Resource Centre. Cara House opens 6 days per week. Cara House offers many services including; Cara House Children's Centre, Active Age Services, Teenagers, Training & Education, Health & Wellbeing.

Cara House welcomes everyone with respect, offering peer support, friendship and acceptance. It is socially inclusive, with high quality services and activities offered at rates that makes them accessible to all.

Classes offered include; Crafts, Languages, Computer Skills, Pass Your Driver Theory Test, Mindfulness, Fitness Dance Class, Pilates and Yoga. Clients are encouraged to provide peer support and encouragement to others, thereby building a community that cares. Cara House has been fortunate in attracting staff who contribute to this by their caring natures and concern for all who attend.
