About Us

Affidea Letterkenny is a state-of-the-art diagnostic & urgent care clinic located at Scally Place, off Pearse Road in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. Established in 2016, the clinic was developed to enhance local access to advanced medical imaging services, eliminating the need for patients to travel long distances for diagnostics. The clinic offers a comprehensive range of services, including MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, and DEXA scans, using modern technology to provide high-quality imaging& improved patient comfort.
In Feb 2025, Affidea expanded its services by launching a Minor Injuries & Illnesses Clinic within the same premises. This clinic operates Mon - Fri 10am to 6pm, treating a variety of non-life-threatening conditions such as fractures, sprains, minor burns, and infections, with average wait times under 45 minutes . The addition of this clinic has increased the staff to 30, reflecting Affidea's commitment to improving healthcare accessibility in the region.
